We are good to work for and care about the well-being of both residents and staff. We provide regular training and cover more than just the mandatory areas.

We provide free meals, uniform, and training above mandatory levels. Staff are well supported by management, encouraged to study for NVQs, and to advance to higher grades.

You should have:

• good communication skills both written and verbal
• a caring, calm, and patient demeanor
• ideally prior experience and training in a care setting
• ability to understand and follow policies and procedures
• good time-keeping
• be stable and responsible

Duties and responsibilities include:

• assist clients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting
• assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of clients
• accompanying clients to medical appointments
• encourage clients to participate in social and recreational activities
• liaise with visiting medical practitioners
• providing physical and emotional care and support
• observe, monitor and record clients' physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to senior staff.
• flexibility with other tasks as needed such as changing bed linen

We are on a bus route and will provide assistance with travel costs if outside the immediate area.

Age 18+.

Don't worry if you have not done care work before. It can be very rewarding and we provide induction and training.
